Why Partner With Make-A-Wish?
It is well known that today's consumers do buy products based on charitable tie-ins. The Make-A-Wish name has excellent recognition nationally - a recent national Ipsos Reid survey found the name recognition of the Make-A-Wish Foundation® across Canada was an impressive 78%, exceeding any other charitable organization that grants wishes to sick children.
Corporate partners can make a difference in the lives of children within their community through financial support or cause-related marketing programs with the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Northern Alberta. Your customers and employees probably have personal knowledge of a Make-A-Wish child and would love to support your product and services in gratitude for your community spirit.

Third Party Events

Auction Items
The Make-A-Wish Foundation® holds fund-raising events with both silent and live auctions. If you would like to donate a new or collectible item for one of our auctions, please contact our development office 780-444-9474.
Air Miles Cards
We have an account with Air Miles which allows friends of Make-A-Wish an account card to accrue points for us which we can utilize for Travel Wishes and to purchase Event Prizes to help us raise funds. We are happy to mail cards for your use.
HBC Rewards Points
Consider donating your HBC Rewards Points to Make-A-Wish Northern Alberta, to help us purchase necessary items for fundraising events and wish granting. To learn more, please click here.
Wish Gifts
Your donation of the following items will mean a great difference to our Wish Kids as we fill backpacks for them prior to or for their Wish:

Monthly Stars Giving Program
When you become a member of our Stars Monthly Giving program, you ensure that our funding is stable while helping us keep our administrative costs low. You decide the amount to have automatically deducted from either your bank account or credit card on a monthly basis. We'll issue you a tax receipt at the end of the year for the full annual donation. It's quick and easy, and you can cancel anytime!

Wedding Wishes
  Couples who are getting married can include a donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Northern Alberta as part of their special day and help grant wishes at the same time. Some couples choose to donate money that they would have spent on favours to Make-A-Wish instead. Others ask their guests to donate in lieu of gifts. Still others participate in our Adopt-A-Wish® program by sponsoring a specific child's wish. Each gift is truly appreciated and helps us grant more wishes to children who are coping with a life-threatening illness.

Memorial and Tribute Giving
Giving to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Northern Alberta is a wonderful way to honour the memory of a loved one, or a significant event in the lives of your family and friends.
Upon receipt of your gift, Make-A-Wish will send a personal card to the family or individual you indicate, acknowledging your donation in their honour, or in memory of their loved one.

Legacy giving is a wonderful way to support the things you care about most, now and after you're gone. For many donors, it's also an important part of their estate planning.
