Kids For Wish Kids^® Program

Here's a chance for students and teachers to have tons of fun while helping to make dreams come true for kids with life-threatening medical conditions. As a Kids for Wish Kids partner, you can team up with Make-a-Wish® Northern Alberta and coordinate a fundraiser at your school to help sponsor wishes for wish kids in your community.

Kids for Wish Kids® is managed by kids like you. You are responsible for forming committees, coming up with fundraising ideas and carrying them out. Teachers and parents often serve as advisors, but ownership of the project belongs to you.

For a minimum $1,000 donation, your school may also participate in our Adopt-A-Wish® program. We try to match up kids in your geographic area if possible. After the wish is completed, we'll provide you with a report on how the wish went so you'll know how your hard-earned money was spent.

Kids for Wish Kids not only helps to increase awareness of the Make-A-Wish Foundation® mission, but it also fosters the value of community service and school spirit. It is a great social justice project! And it's fun!

FEATURED SCHOOL - Bonnyville Family and Community Support Services

We would like to welcome all of the students at Bonnyville Family and Community Support Services to the Kids For Wish Kids Program. 160 playschool students of the Bonnyville Family and Community Support Services took on the challenge of kids helping kids and raised an overwhelming $16,470.00! They challenge all Northern Alberta schools to participate in the Kids for Wish Kids program. "Our goal was to grant a wish - we granted TWO so how about you!!!" Congratulations to everyone involved and thank you for Sharing the Power of a Wish!
